Bukanero is a sociable and affectionate dog, although he can be somewhat sensitive to new situations.
He adapts well over time, but he needs a patient and respectful approach to build confidence in unfamiliar environments.

Bukanero can live with a confident cat who has lived with dogs before. It is highly recommended that a potential adopter has experience introducing and slowly acclimating “Buko” to cats.
