running a galgo rescue. One never knows what surprises the day brings.
Yesterday the surprise came in the shape of a flightoffer for 2 galgos, coming in to JFK only 3 days after my return from Spain with Tokyo and Lena.
And since coincidence doesn't seem to exist in my life, we have a home waiting for 2 senior galgos.
This morning we got the confirmation from Iberia, both have a reserved space at the airplane now and so it is on.

Besides the galgos that we at times have available for adoption in the US, it is also possible to check out the galgos that are still with the shelters in Spain that SAGE works with.
We've added links to the pages that showcase the availble galgos of each shelter to our available dog page.
Please feel free to check them out and let us know if you would be interested in possibly adopting one of them. #FundacionBenjaminMehnert #SaveAGalgoEspanol #BaasGalgo #112Carlotagalgos #
You may have read it already, but 2016 started really well with a radio interview and a tv interview.
And that is not all, we're preparing for the fist 2016 galgos to come over.
A week from now I will on a plane towards Madrid for a short visit, returning with the first two galgos of this year.
We are expecting a special boy this time.
After a few months of healing, Tokyo will finally be ready for his forever home.
For those not knowing his story, here's a short recap.
Petra and myself were recently interviewed by Jenna Clay with Cumulus Media. As you can see, both Brisa and Sarita enjoyed their visit to the radio station. The interview is set to air locally here in central Pennsylvania on Sunday, 1/24/16 @ 6am on several radio stations; however, we were provided a link for the audio from Jenna earlier today for all the folks you live outside of central PA. Enjoy! :) Here's a link to the audio: http://chirb.it/FgJkd6 Chirbit [JennaClay]
